Ellie Goulding has debuted her new single.

Anything Could Occur is the initial &nbspsingle to be taken&nbspfrom her second studio album Halcyon.

“I’ve been with this song a extended time and I’ve had to listen to it a lot to get it just how I wanted it,”&nbspEllie told Fearne Cotton on Radio 1.

Ellie also recently unveiled a trailer for her new album Halycon, which consists of previews of a couple of of the album’s tracks.

“This album for me is a journey from dark into light, from confusion to understanding. I didn’t set out to write a break-up record but I assume it became one,” she told Fearne.

She lately said that boyfriend Skrillex helped&nbspmotivated her while she was writing and recording the&nbspnew album, telling Time magazine: “I believe we influence each and every other – not necessarily in music, but in the way that any couple would influence each and every other.

” A single of the reasons that we initial liked every other is that we’re each very motivated and we function actually difficult. We just want to make very good music and tour and I believe we motivate every single other. We’re both seriously big fans of each and every other.”

Something Could Happen is due for release 30 September, although new album Halcyon follows on eight October.
